On November 30, the „Nasdaq“ scholarships were awarded. Students who will be awarded „Nasdaq“ scholarships were selected based on their progress in studies, active participation in scientific or social activities, interest in financial markets and motivation to continue their career in this field.

„We are glad that we can contribute to the education of highly qualified specialists in the financial market. We see that this is a meaningful investment on the path of business and science partnership", - said one of the scholarship initiators and commission members, Head director of financial planning and analysis at „Nasdaq“ Antanas Bielinis. This year, nominal scholarships are awarded to three undergraduate students of Quantitative Economics: second-year student Karolina Jonuskaitė and third-year students Rosita Jasaitytė and Urtė Žiškaitė.

In 2022, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Vilnius University (FEBA) has established a new scholarship. The aim of the scholarship is to reward the best foreign citizens enrolled in FEBA master's or bachelor's degrees. This is a one-time scholarship, which, we hope, will be a good start for students from other countries, when settling and starting their studies in Lithuania - shares Roma Adomaitienė, the Vice-Dean for Studies at the FEBA.

 

A meeting of Ukrainian students on November 18 took place at VU FEBA. Students had the opportunity to get to know each other, communicate, exchange experiences of studying, living, working in Lithuania and have fun in the circle of Ukrainian society. The program included interesting stories from ambassadors of Vilnius University.
