Student for a Day is a traditional event of Vilnius University when everyone can step into the shoes of VU students, experience how studies at a higher school take place, and get acquainted with exciting study programs and the admission procedure.

On the occasion of the World Intellectual Property Day, the Lithuanian Patent Attorneys' Institute together with the State Patent Office of the Republic of Lithuania announces a student essay competition on intellectual property. The best essay will be awarded with a financial prize of EUR 500, as well as a special prize and the best essays will be published on the PPI Linkedin account (the participant agrees to this condition by participating).

We are delighted to invite you to attend the research seminar organized by Center for Economic Expertise which will take place on Tuesday, March 28 in VU TechHub Conference room. During the seminar Dr. Povilas Lastauskas will present the topic „Trade Persistence Heterogeneity“.

The 23rd European Accounting Week took place in Kortrijk, Belgium, bringing together students and lecturers from 16 higher education institutions in 14 European countries, including Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Finland, France, France, Germany, Hungary, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain and Sweden. Vilnius University Faculty of Economics and Business Administration was represented by Prof. Dr. Alfreda Šapkauskienė, Head of the Department of Finance, as well as by six students from the Bachelor's degree programmes in Economics and Finance, Accounting and Auditing, and Business Information Systems: Salvius, Charlotte, Deira, Ilona, Andrius and Arūnas.
