With deep sorrow, we bid farewell to Prof. Dr. Vincentas Rolandas Giedraitis, Head of the Department of Theoretical Economics at the Vilnius University Faculty of Economics and Business Administration – a scholar, colleague, and friend whose light, intellect, and humanity left a lasting mark on our community.

Vincentas Rolandas Giedraitis was a professor at Vilnius University who also lectured at the Faculties of Philosophy and Medicine. His academic work encompassed the fields of economic history, socioeconomics, and criminology.
