This short course offers a self-contained presentation of the uncertainty assessment specification in econometrics. The focus is on model averaging methods and, in particular, on Bayesian approaches to specification uncertainty.

The inaugural Baltic Economic Association conference took place in Vilnius on June 11-12, bringing together more than 60 researchers not only from the Baltics but also from all over Europe and the United States.

The Center for Excellence in Finance and Economic Research (CEFER) jointly with Vilnius University has developed a brand-new Bachelor program Quantitative Economics. This program will develop graduates capable of successfully navigating within the modern finance industry as well as public institutions and private companies requiring competence in economics and data science; the language of instruction is English and the program only last for three years instead of the standard four years. This is the first and so far the only program of this kind in Lithuania.

Vilnius University students are invited to participate in the ISEP student exchange programme and spend Spring semester 2019 in one of the Universities in the USA or some other country.
