On April 15, 2025, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Vilnius University hosted “VU Tech Hub” Demo Day 2025 – the final event of the pre-acceleration program, where four teams of young creators presented business projects developed over six months.
Starting in early November, students went through an intensive program that took them from idea generation to developing a minimum viable product (MVP), market testing, and business model development. Working closely with experienced mentors and experts, participants deepened their knowledge in finance, marketing, sales, and communication.
This year’s Demo Day featured the following startups:
- PreStart – a platform helping school students discover the most suitable field of study.
- Better Man – a personalized dating and experience platform for men.
- Fintoucan – an automated investment solution.
- Rizz Up – a social gaming network for mobile devices.
The main prize of €3,000, sponsored by the event’s primary partner SEB Bank, was awarded to the Rizz Up team. Their mobile app, which combines gaming and social interaction, is already showing impressive results – it has reached #10 in the U.S. app store and boasts over 5,500 active users.
“While congratulating the winners, I want to emphasize that this project is valuable not only to the winning team but to all participants. Partnering with the largest and oldest university in Lithuania allows us to share our expertise, foster future innovators, and contribute to creating real change,” said Modestas Kieras, Head of Business Client Services at SEB Bank.
The event was evaluated by a panel of expert judges:

- Modestas Kieras, Head of Business Client Services at SEB Bank
