On 11 December, the Ministry of Finance awarded the winners of the Ministry's research paper competition and their supervisors. Congratulations to Renata Miškinienė, a student of the Accounting and Auditing Programme (post-graduate studies) in the Management Branch of the EVAF, who won the second place in the Bachelor's thesis category, and her supervisor is Assoc. Prof. Dr. Daiva Tamulevičienė.
The topic of the thesis is "Budgeting and analysis of social service institutions: the case of Varėnos care home", R. Miškinienė in her thesis identified the problem of increasing demand for social services and therefore chose to analyse the principles of public sector budgeting and the procedure of financing social service institutions on the example of Varėna care home.
