We would like to remind you that our partner of the Quantitative Economics study programme, the Bank of Lithuania, awards the Bank of Lithuania scholarship every year to the most advanced students of the Quantitative Economics study programme at Vilnius University (VU) and to the students applying to the study programme.

Three scholarships are awarded each year - one each to first-, second- and third-year Quantitative Economics students. One scholarship is worth 5 MMA (the minimum monthly salary set by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania).

The scholarship shall be available to students of Quantitative Economics at Vilnius University unless they have any unfulfilled academic requirements or work for more than 20 hours per week. The same student may receive the scholarship for several consecutive years.

The aim of this scholarship is to encourage the most talented students to choose the VU Quantitative Economics study programme instead of bachelor studies of a similar profile at foreign universities, to train analysts who meet the standards of the best universities and will contribute to a qualitative change in the country's economy, finance, data analytics and forecasting, and to prepare the Bank of Lithuania's future specialists.
