Congratulations to all of you who are starting the best faculty of Vilnius University this year! We enrolled the most students this year, and we are happy about it. Congratulations for deciding to be among the best, for choosing us. By choosing us, you've taken the first step toward a successful career. During your time here, you'll earn your first salaries, start businesses, land jobs, and forge lifelong friendships. You'll learn from amazing teachers, gain independence, and make mistakes that will shape you into remarkable individuals. You might even become VU Alumni, future leaders, entrepreneurs or even prime ministers or presidents. Believe it! We believe in you, and we will always be there!
And we as faculty won't stop there, because what seemed new yesterday is sometimes outdated in the morning. What only professors used to know is now known by curious students. That's the wonderful thing about the world of science - it never ceases to amaze and fascinate, and we are all part of it. I wish us all a meaningful and exciting new school year.
